Children living in underprivileged circumstances in Yangon learned  juggling and circus skills in a series of community juggling workshops lead by Serious Fun juggling specialist Mr Jules.

Juggling improves reflexes, coordination, concentration, confidence and self esteem, and it develops cooperation and teamwork – but most of all, it is fun!

These kids have not had much fun in their short lives. They are orphans, street children, kids who have fled conflict zones and working children helping their families to survive.

European Juggling Shops and Manufactures donated equipment for these workshops and the kids learned how to be teachers themselves so they can continue juggling and pass on their skills to others long after the festival is over.

A series of webisodes tells the story of the children who took part in the juggling workshops and joined in the festival action when the international jugglers arrived.

HELP KEEP IT GOING

The festival is over but the children are still juggling, thanks to the donations of juggling props from our fabulous juggling sponsors.

We want to continue the community workshops and expand the programme further. If you want to help, we are accepting donations to cover transport, interpreters, food and drinks for the kids taking part.
