First Laos International Juggling Festival
22-29 November 1996
International jugglers joined with performers from the renowned Laos National Circus for workshops and to perform shows on the streets of Vientiane and at the historic circus building. The aim of the festival was to provide much needed repairs to the circus building and to make connections between the Lao circus people and international performers.
Programme Highlights included a fire show for an audience of 50,000 during the That Luang festivities and a number of packed out shows at the circus.
